AYMT Presents: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Senior AYMT are delighted to welcome a new star to the company. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the iconic racing car, will be joining the cast and flying onto the Tivoli stage for the first time ever.
Eccentric inventor Caratacus Potts restores a broken-down racing car to please his children, Jeremy and Jemima. After naming the car “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” due to the noise it makes, Caractacus and the two children take a trip to the seaside accompanied by Truly Scrumptious (daughter of a wealthy industrialist). Soon they discover “Chitty” has magical powers. When the evil Baron Bomburst wants the car for himself and mistakenly kidnaps Grandpa Potts, “Chitty” reveals her ability and transports them to the land of Vulgaria to rescue Grandpa Potts. They have to outsmart the Baron and Baroness including their spy, the Child Catcher, and in doing so, they find themselves in a world of weird and wonderful toys, eccentric inventors and hidden children. Thankfully, Chitty is there to save the day!
